The Junior Chipolopolo, who beat Malawi 1-0 in first leg last Wednesday, progressed to the final round of qualifiers at the Egypt 2019 U-23 Africa Cup finals after another 1-0 to progress 2-0 on aggregate.
Striker Fashion Sakala was again the hero when he scored the only goal in the 39th minute during the match played at National Heroes Stadium in Lusaka, the country's capital.
Zambia will now wait for the winners between Burundi and Congo Brazzaville, whom they will meet for the final qualifying stage.
