District police chief killed in bomb attack in Afghanistan

HERAT, Afghanistan, Sept. 5 (Xinhua) -- A district police chief has been killed following a Taliban bomb attack in Afghanistan's western province of Badghis, the latest in a string of attacks against officials, local police said Wednesday.
