          CAPE TOWN, Aug. 27 (Xinhua) -- The following are news items in South Africa's major news outlets on Monday:

          -- Policy uncertainty and inconsistency continues to be the biggest factor cited for the low levels of domestic and foreign investment, according to Martin Kingston, vice president of Business Unity SA (BUSA). (Fin24)

          -- The State Capture Commission of Inquiry will resume on Monday morning with former African National Congress (ANC) MP Vytjie Mentor expected to take the stand and detail how the Indian Gupta family once offered her a ministerial post.

          On Friday, the commission heard startling revelations from former Deputy Finance Minister Mcebisi Jonas that the controversial family threatened to kill him if he revealed that they had offered him the position of finance minister.(Eyewitness News)
