NAIROBI, May 10 (Xinhua) -- China-based international winger Ayub Timbe will miss Kenya's clash against Ghana and Ethiopia after Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) slapped him with a three-match ban for indiscipline.

Timbe, who plays for Heilongjiang FC in the China League One, has just returned to the Harambee Stars team after a lengthy spell on the sideline battling injury.

He played for 50 minutes during Kenya's international friendly against Central African Republic in Morocco in March. The 25-year old will also have to pay CAF 10,000 U.S. dollars in fine.

The continental body found Timbe guilty of using offensive language towards the referee during Harambee Star's 2-1 loss in June against Sierra Leone in Free Town in the Africa Nations Cup qualification campaign.

"I am disappointed with the verdict. As a player, I have always endeavored to adhere to the laws of the game, both off and on the pitch and it pains me to be denied the chance to represent my country, especially at this crucial period when we are trying to qualify for the 2019 AFCON," said Timbe in a statement released by Football Kenya Federation (FKF).

"I don't agree with the verdict, I respect the decision by CAF and won't be appealing against it."

FKF have confirmed they will enter guilty verdict against Timbe with CAF and will struck the winger off their list for the next three matches.

Kenya reignite their quest for qualification to the Africa Nations Cup in September against Black Stars of Ghana in Nairobi and will then play Ethiopia on home and away basis before in October.

New coach Sebestien Migne has already started his work after he was unveiled last week taking over from Belgian Paul Put, who resigned in February.

Migne has a three-year contract and has his task cut out to return Kenya to the premier Africa football competition. The Last time Kenya was at the Africa Nations Cup was in 2004 in Tunisia.?
