"Pelican" emergency drill held at Israeli airport

People take part in the "Pelican" emergency drill at Ben Gurion International Airport near Tel Aviv, Israel, on May 8, 2018. Ben Gurion International Airport carried out on Tuesday a large scale emergency drill simulating an emergency landing by a Boeing 747-400 jumbo jet carrying hundreds of passengers. Around 1000 representatives of the airport, the defense and health ministries, the air force, police, emergency services and the IDF Home Front Command took part in the drill.
